Charitable, chill, sweet, spunky, soft, wise, hard-working, beautiful, gentle, close, silly, fun, and all of the most wonderful things. I could go on for hours about all the incredible things I see in the Bringhurst Family. They are the quiet superheroes of Pittsburgh. I can't even count the number of times I have seen them serving people around them and offering their kind hearts to everyone.
But, I think my favorite thing about the Bringhursts is that they remind me of my own family. I am the second in a family of seven kids, and watching these six little angels and how their parents interact with them sometimes brings a little tear to my eye as I reminisce on my childhood. They sit in the third pew at church on Sundays, exactly where my family still sits to this day. I watch them all file in, as the older girls help the little ones get situated. The little girls wave to their dad while he conducts the meeting, reminding me of my sweet dad and his years up at the front. They work together to make sure everyone in the family is taken care of because they are a team. They have such a sweet spirit about them and they are such good, kind, remarkable people. I feel so blessed to have been able to get to know them while we are here in Pittsburgh.
